In the constant search for new ways of winemaking and aging that allows us to produce wines with identity and originality, Bodegas San Alejandro is using a new concrete tanks with an ovoid shape that allows the wine to microoxygen naturally and get very high fruit aromas. Also this shape add a subtle movement of molecules and lees that results in a more intense and full bodied wine.
It is a type of aging without any transfer of oak notes which is looking for the fruit as the main flavor in the wine. This tanks are constructed in reinforced concrete with a pure cement ineer. The volume is 2000 liters of wine and usually focused to produce top wines.
